Avengers: Endgame has now premiered, holding several large scale screenings in the US. And is now officially in theatres in select countries.
Avengers: Endgame currently holds a rating of 9.3, trumping the likes of classics such as The Shawshank Redemption and Interstellar. This also means the movie tops its Marvel Cinematic Universe predecessors such as Avengers: Infinity War and Thor: Ragnarok.

But does this mean anything?
It’s not at all surprising to see the movie so highly ranked, considering this is the most hyped movie of the century this is to be expected.
However, there is one small problem with this. Considering that most fans haven’t even seen the movie yet. These types of movie rankings are always subject to change seeing as they are often manipulated by the diehard fans that so readily anticipate them. Of course in this particular case, it is very likely Avengers: Endgame is actually that popular.
The fact that Avengers: Endgame has received such rave reviews from critics is a good indicator that fans will have a similar if not even more positive reaction.
Avengers: Infinity War is now available on home video, and Captain Marvel is now in theatres. Avengers: Endgame arrives on April 26th and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th.
