The PS5 release date is fast approaching and we’re finally getting access to all the information we’ve been waiting for. Sony’s “The Future of Gaming” game reveal event showed us a sneak peek at some of the games we can expect to see arriving on their next-gen console.
They also revealed the console itself for the first time. This was something that raised a lot of excitement and got a lot of people talking after they kept us in the dark for so long.
However, there are still a few things we have yet to see. We don’t know the price of the console and we haven’t seen any actual gameplay demos. The price of the actual games is also something that is going to be hard to predict right now.
On top of all of this, we don’t yet have word on which titles will be launch titles and which titles will debut after the console’s release. Despite this, we do have an ever-growing list of all of the confirmed PS5 games that we know are releasing for the console either upon its launch or shortly after.
These games include both big third-party games and first-party exclusives. This includes PS5 games from third-party publishers such as Capcom, EA, Ubisoft and Square Enix, and PS5 exclusives from Sony-owned developers such as Insomniac Games, SIE Japan and Housemarque.
This list mainly consists of cross-gen games releasing on all platforms but there are some next-gen exclusives and PS5 exclusives.
To make sure our readers are well informed we’ve composed a complete list of all the PS5 games that are currently confirmed, and we’ve also included a section for games that we suspect will be released onto the PS5 but haven’t been confirmed for the console despite the confirmation of their development.
Rumours and leaked games are not included in this list but any games that are confirmed in the months leading up to the PS5 release date will be promptly added.

Battlefield 6
Electronic Arts has confirmed that Battlefield 6 is in the works and will be arriving on Xbox Series X and PS5 in 2021.
In a conversation with GameSpot, EA said that Battlefield 6 taking advantage of the new tech available “targeting new innovation that will be enabled by next-gen platforms”. We still don’t know where Battlefield 6 will be set and whether we will also be seeing it released on the current-gen (a safe bet would be yes). As soon as any of this information becomes available we will let you know!

Remedy Entertainment recently announced that its popular supernatural action-adventure game, Control, will also be released on the PS5 and Xbox Series X. We don’t really know anything else at this point but the studio has said that more information will be coming “at a later date”

Announced in March 2019, Daedalic’s Gollum game has now been confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X. We know that its set to release 2021 for PC but we don’t know if it will be releasing on current-gen platforms. The game will revolve around the ring-obsessed Gollum, the creators promise that it “tells Gollum’s story from a perspective never seen before … while staying true to the legendary books.”
