
During a live stream held in Jamaica, the main cast and primary locations for the upcoming James Bond movie have all been confirmed.
Amongst the returning stars are Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bond’s ally Tanner, Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann and Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter.
Rami Malek The New Villain?

Amongst the newcomers are Academy Award winner Rami Malek, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik and Lashana Lynch.
One of the newcomers will definitely be recognisable to most fans, Academy Award winner Rami Malek, known for his roles in “Mr. Robot” and his role in “Bohemian Rhapsody” as the legendary Freddie Mercury.
The live stream implied that Malek will be the movie’s main villain. Which is not too hard to imagine considering his acting chops. He also suggested that his character would be “villainous” in a previous interview on Good Morning America.
What Else Do We Know?
The official title for Bond 25 has yet to be revealed. However, it has been confirmed that that the screenplay is going to be written by The Bourne Ultimatum’s Scott Z. Burns and Killing Eve’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge with a story from Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. It’s set to film in Jamaica, where the live stream was held, Norway, London and Italy. Principal photography begins April 28th
As Bond 25 begins, James Bond has left active service and is enjoying his retirement in Jamaica. This all comes to a shuddering halt when the FBI’s Felix Leiter drops out of blue asking for help. A mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist quickly turns into a manhunt for a mysterious villain armed with dangerous technology.
Before this live stream commenced we were already aware that Craig was set to return as the titular James Bond, Lea Seydoux would reprise her role from Spectre, and that Rami Malek was likely to be playing the movie’s main villain.
Bond 25 will be directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, and released in the United States and UK on April 8, 2020.
