As most of you know the Loki Disney+ series premiers next year and as the year progresses we’re probably going to learn a little more about the series. What we do know is that the series will be following the alternate version of Loki that’s in “Avengers: End Game”. This Loki *spoiler alert* steals the tesseract in a botched heist that the Avenger attempt. So now this version of Loki is left to travel through time with the tesseract.
Also one thing worth pointing out as that this Loki is still very much a villain. He hasn’t been through the same redemption saga as the regular MCU Loki. So he is still power-hungry and out to create chaos. If we are being honest I much prefer this Loki to the Loki that he grew into throughout the movies. So it will be good to see him in full effect again.

This has reportedly led to the inclusion of the Time Variance Authority, an organisation that govern and monitor realities throughout the multiverse. One of there most well-known members is the villain Kang The Conqueror. If you pause the Superbowl Sunday trailer on the bit that includes Loki you will see him wearing what looks like a jumpsuit with the letters “TVA” (Time Variance Authority).
At this point, it should be considered but confirmed that the Loki will at least include the Time Variance Authority. But apparently this show could also introduce Kang The Conqueror.
Who Is Kang The Conqueror?

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Kang the Conqueror first appeared in 1964’s The Avengers #8. He is a villain with the ability to time travel and is considered to be a high profile villain. He has been a problem for The Avengers and The Fantastic Four many times in the past. With the Fantastic Four now back under Marvel’s care, could he be the next big villain? This could indeed be the case as the Disney+ shows are 100% part of the MCU and have all been confirmed to have ramifications in the greater MCU.
It was also recently reported that Gugu Mbatha-Raw (“Doctor Who”) has signed on to appear in the series. Also rumoured to be part of the cast are Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino and Angelica Ross. At this moment in time, Marvel has not revealed much about the series. But we expect more news in the not too distant future.
Loki is set to debut on Disney+ Spring 2021 and will feature Tom Hiddleston as Loki, with Rick & Morty writer Michael Waldron set to write the series and all episode will be directed by Sex Education’s Kate Herron.
Stay tuned for any updates
