Sony Plan To Reveal “The Future of Gaming” In Next Week’s PlayStation 5 Event

We previously reported that there was a PlayStation 5 game reveal event inbound next week. Turns out we were right, the only thing we got wrong was the date. The event will take place on June 4th at 1 pm, instead of June 3rd as we’d heard.
The event is said to share “The Future of Gaming” with fans. We previously reported on whispers that this would be an event focused only on the games but like there’s a slight possibility it may actually be a little more than that.
A teaser trailer has been shared that shows the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller off, giving us a look at the PS5 Controller from angles we haven’t seen before. Not only this but it also gave us a look at the controller in a different colour. The first model we got to see was the white one (it looks even better in black)
In a recent blog post Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO, Jim Ryan, promised that the event will deliver “a first look at the games you’ll be playing after PlayStation 5 launches this holiday”.
The PlayStation 5 event is set to livestream on June 4th at 1 pm PDT, of course the exact details are yet to be revealed but it would seem that this event will at the very least give us a look at some of the titles we can expect to see release around the same time as the next-gen console.
So far we’ve been drip-fed information and it’s becoming a little irritating to say the least. Here’s hoping this event will put an end to that.
Although we shouldn’t expect to see too much since Ryan also said “This is part of our series of PS5 updates and, rest assured, after next week’s showcase, we will still have much to share with you.”
The PlayStation 5 site was recently updated with more information so it would seem like they’re ready to start releasing more information about this console that we’ve yet to actually see.
